Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Guidance
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has released a new Interim Final Rule (IFR) on the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), specifically addressing changes in the program enacted by Congress in the PPP Flexibility Act. This is a comprehensive rule, with guidance on multiple issues on both PPP loan forgiveness and loan review procedures. Click here to access the IFR. Virginia Is the First State to Require Statewide Coronavirus Workplace Regulations
Virginia’s health and safety board voted this week to create workplace coronavirus safety rules, becoming the first state in the country to take steps toward creating such rules amid the pandemic. The state’s 14-member board voted 9-3 to create the safety rules that the board will continue to work on and finalize in the coming days, the Washington Post reported.
