I want to talk this month about something that is very near and dear to my heart, Raise A Racquet. I cannot begin to tell you how important this Foundation is to our state. In 2015, Raise A Racquet awarded $3,000.00 in educational scholarships to Kentucky High School seniors through the Jason Isaacs Memorial Fund and over $5,000.00 in grant monies were awarded to Kentucky Junior players. The Annual Kentucky Community Development Workshop is scheduled for Saturday October 22. This workshop is an opportunity to gather community tennis leaders from over 20 different areas across our state, to learn, grow and be empowered to provide tennis in their respective communities. READ MORE
NEW RECREATIONAL LEAGUE!
Adults sixty-five and over are invited to participate in the newest recreational league being offered in Louisville.
Over $1.2 million has been made available for programs and tournaments focused on innovative ideas and growth based programming. The next deadline is October 31st, 2016.

BUILD IT FORWARD GRANT
USTA Southern has opened registration for grant applications for the Build It Forward initiative. $500K has been made available to build or reconstruct tennis courts. There is no deadline, as funds will be available until exhausted.
