Thank you for being a Zone 2 member! August was packed with championships and events, and we want to congratulate our members for their accomplishments this month. Don't forget to get your entries in for the AON/USHJA National Championships!
Zone 2 riders shine at the USHJA Zones 1 & 2 Jumper Team Championships
Congratulations to our Zone 2 riders who competed at the USHJA Zones 1 & 2 Jumper Team Championshps in Princeton, New Jersey, Aug. 22-26! Special congratulations to the following Zone 2 medalists:
1.10/1.15m Children's Team Championship
  • Gold: Hunter Champey, Claudia Citrin, David Eakin, and Jordan Ferrier
  • Silver: Dakota Champey, Isabelle Gochtovtt, Ava Kavulich, and Devon Owen
  • Bronze: Mathew Acevedo was part of the combined Zones 1 & 2 team

1.10/1.15m Adult Amateur Team Championship
  • Silver: Emily Daignault-Salvaggio, Stacey Mahoney, Barbara Rochford, and Kendra Sue Walmer

Zone 2 riders earn medals at FEI North American Youth Show Jumping Championships!
Congratulations to our Zone 2 Juniors Emma Callanan, Dagny MacTaggart, Carley McInerney and Carolina Villanueva as well as Zone 2 Young Riders Samantha Cohen, Ailish Cunniffe, Madison Goetzmann and Katherine Strauss, who competed in the FEI North American Youth Show Jumping Championships presented by USHJA Aug. 1-5 at Old Salem Farm in North Salem, New York!

The Young Rider team of Cohen, Cunniffe, Goetzmann and Strauss earned the gold medal in the Team Championship. Cohen also earned bronze in the Individual Championship. Way to go Zone 2! Special thanks to Zone 2 Chef d'Equipe Ralph Caristo, who led teams during the championships!
