Save the date for the 2019 USHJA Annual Meeting, presented by World Equestrian Center, which will be December 8-12 at Denver Hilton City Center in Denver, Colorado.

Congratulations to Zone 4 Members Selected to Attend EAP Nationals
Zone 4's Celia Cram, Claire Huskey and Madeline Vorhies were selected to ride in the Lindsay Maxwell Charitable Fund/USHJA Emerging Athletes Program National Training Session, and Addison Diaz was selected as an alternate rider. Congratulations to these members!

EAP Nationals will be November 7-10 at the University of Findlay. Horsemanship Quiz Challenge Nationals will also be held during EAP Nationals. Stay tuned to see who will be attending!

ANRC National Equitation Championships

The ANRC National Equitation Championships are an invitational competition for collegiate, junior, adult amateur, and ANRC alumni teams that pay an annual ANRC team membership fee. There is no need to qualify. Everyone is welcome to join us for the 2020 championships April 9-11, 2020. Membership opens September 1, 2019.

The championship for each group is held on the same weekend and judged separately. In each championship, teams may compete in a 3′ National Division or a 2’6″ Novice Division. Participants may compete on a school-owned horse, a leased horse, or a privately-owned horse.

IEA Announces 2019-2020 Youth Board Members

The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) announced the elected members of the 2019-2020 IEA Youth Board. The IEA Youth Board is structured with one student representative from each of the ten Hunt Seat Zones. Savannah Hutto, a Junior from Timmonsville, S.C., who rides with Tally Ho is the representative from Zone 4. Read more. 

Pensacola Hunter Jumper Association News

Pensacola Hunter Jumper Association is pleased to announce their partnership with the
Pensacola Sports Foundation. Pensacola Sports Foundation supports bringing all types of
sporting events to the greater Pensacola area. They are Florida’s first and oldest sports
organizing and management group, and area leader in amateur and professional participant
sports, event management, marketing and promotions in the Pensacola and Northwest Florida
Region. Together Pensacola Hunter Jumper Association and the Pensacola Sports Foundation
will work to increase the number of out of area equestrian visitors participating in PHJA’s show
series.
