Thank you for being a Zone 5 member! August was packed with championships and events, and we want to congratulate our members for their accomplishments this month. Don't forget to get your entries in for the AON/USHJA National Championships!
Zone 5 riders shine at Zones 5 & 6 Jumper Team Championships!
Congratulations to our members who attended the USHJA Zones 5 & 6 Jumper Team Championships July 19-22 at HITS Balmoral Park! Special congratulations to members who earned medals:
1.10/1.15m Children's and Adult Amateur Team Championship

  • Silver: Adeline Cordin-Blitstein, Claire Stockard and Edie Wetzel
  • Bronze: Tyler Anderson Clara Ciancuillo and Jacob Harris

1.20/1.25m Junior and Amateur Team Championship

The Zone 5 Horsemanship Class coming up in September!
The Zone 5 Horsemanship Class, a fun class that tests participants mounted knowledge and skill as well as their understanding of quality horse care, is coming up September 21 at The Kentucky National.

Great competition at Children's and Adult Amateur Hunter Championships, presented by SmartPak
Congratulations to our Zone 5 members who participated in the Zones 5 & 6 Children's and Adult Amateur Hunter Championships, presented by SmartPak, July 20-22 at HITS Balmoral Park! Special congratulations to the following medalists:

Zone 5 riders bring home medals from the FEI North American Youth Show Jumping Championships!
Congratulations to our Madelyn Cardelli, Charlise Casas, Daisy Farish, Emma Kurtz, Paige Matthies and Alexandra Pielet, who competed in the FEI North American Youth Show Jumping Championships presented by USHJA Aug. 1-5 at Old Salem Farm in North Salem, New York! 

Zone 5 riders had strong performances at the championships. The Zone 5 Junior Team made up of Charlise Casas, Emma Kurtz, Paige Matthies and Alexandra Pielet earned gold in the Team Championship. And Zone 5's Madelyn Cardelli was part of the silver medal Children's Team.

Alexandra Pielet earned gold in the Junior Individual Championship, and Daisy Farish earned gold in the Young Rider Individual Championship. Way to go Zone 5! Special thanks to Chef d'Equipe Alex Warriner for leading riders at the Championships.

Congratulations to all of our members who participated in USEF Pony Finals, presented by Collecting Gaits Farm, Aug. 7-12 at The Kentucky Horse Park.

River Mountain Farm earns USHJA Barn Night prizes!
Congratulations to River Mountain Farm, located in Versailles, Kentucky, the winner of the USHJA Barn Night prizes at the 2018 Platinum Performance/USHJA International Hunter Derby Championship. For having the most members in attendance, the barn received a great prize package including gifts from Equestrian Events, Inc., Platinum Performance, Professional's Choice, VisitLex, Jersey Mike's Subs and USHJA.
Daisy Farish takes Hunterdon Cup Equitation Classic-East Coast
The 14th annual USHJA Hunterdon Cup Equitation Classic - East Coast, presented by Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry College, brought together 98 riders to compete for top honors in Saugerties, N.Y., July 30, 2018. Daisy Farish stood out amongst the group, earning the top score in each round and ultimately leading the victory gallop.  Read more.
