Zone 7 earns gold at the Neue Schule/USEF National Junior Jumper Championships!
Way to go Zone 7! The team made up of Anna Beth Athey, Sloan Hopson, Briley Koener and Brian Moggre earned team gold at the 2018 Neue Schule/USEF National Junior Jumper Championships Oct. 11-13 at Pennsylvania National Horse Show! Special thanks to Zone 7 Chef d'Equipe Martien van der Hoeven for leading the team!
Mattie Hatcher brings home gold from Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games
Congratulations to Zone 7's Mattie Hatcher of Little Rock, Arkansas, who represented the United States at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina!

Mattie had three clear rounds to help her North American team earn the gold medal in the Show Jumping competition at the Youth Olympics. Click here to read more about the team win.

Mattie went on to earn fourth place individually, after a jump off with four other combinations. Read more about her finish. Way to go Mattie!

Good luck to Mattie McDonald at HQC Nationals!
Congratulations and good luck to Mattie McDonald of Yukon, Okla., who is headed to HQC Nationals, presented by The Plaid Horse, November 9-11 at The University of Findlay.

HQC Nationals is a multi-phase event that puts the top scoring participants, who advanced through HQC Levels One and Two, to the ultimate test. Participants will take a written exam, a horsemastership/identification exam, and a final practicum to demonstrate their mastery of practical horsemanship knowledge.

Zone 7 HOTY Championships are coming up!
The Zone 7 Horse of the Year North and South championships are coming up! Here are the details:

Zone 7 Horse of the Year Championship North
Nov. 7-11
Lake St. Louis Hunter Jumper Show, Lake St. Louis, Mo.

Zone 7 Horse of the Year Championship South
Nov. 7-11

The AON/USHJA National Championships are next month!
The inaugural AON/USHJA National Championships are coming up next month at The Las Vegas National, CSI4*-W, November 13-18.

The Championships offer Hunter, Jumper and Age Group Equitation divisions with $96,000 in prize money for the USEF/USHJA National Jumper Championships, and each Hunter section section offers $4,000 in prize money. The Championships also feature Affiliate Championships at fence heights of 2' and 2'6", which have received a wonderful response from Affiliate Organizations.
