The rate of family homelessness has more than doubled since March 2020.

The lack of affordable housing options, childcare, and mental health support in our community adversely impacts our most vulnerable neighbors, including children.
Not only has Covid-19 impacted schooling, but not having consistent living situations can affect how a child learns. Having a safe space to call home can help a child feel secure, confident, and peaceful when at school.
By supporting our critical work, you are helping create an opportunity for children to thrive.

A client in our housing program recently said,
"My son's teacher said he is a different kid since we moved in. He's not fighting in class, he's not physical with other kids, he has a new sense of peace about him. They said it is night and day, this kid before and after moving into
our new place".

We are thrilled to announce that Heart House is on track to welcome home families this June! Heart House works to address both the housing and childcare shortage in our community by providing 11 units for families with young children and a childcare facility operated in partnership with the YMCA.
We are so grateful for all the supporters who have helped make this vision a reality! Interested in getting involved?

Last year at Hearts for Housing, our community was able to come together and raise over $250,000 for families experiencing homelessness in our community.
As we continue to see the need for services rise and the impacts of the pandemic continue to affect our most vulnerable neighbors adversely, your participation this year is even more critical to ensuring mission success.
