Happy Holidays from the Field Hockey BC family! Please note that our office will be closed from December 21, 20 18 to January 1, 2019. Regular office hours will resume on January 2nd.

Registration is Open for the Interior 
Regional Trial!   Interior

Registration is now open for the Interior Girls Regional Program Trials! 

All U15 and U18 female athletes with some field hockey experience residing in and around Kelowna/Interior BC are encouraged to register for the trial. Visit the  Online Registration Pag e  to secure your spot!

Trial registration will be open until 12 pm on Wednesday, January 9th. The trial will take place on Sunday, January 13th from 11:45 am - 2:15 pm. For more trial information,  click here.

FHBC Awards Night   Awards

The Field Hockey BC Annual Volunteer Recognition and Awards Dinner took place on Friday, November 30 at Heritage Hall in Vancouver.
We are proud to have recognized 21 athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers for their contributions and commitment to field hockey in British Columbia. Our organization would not be the same without these dedicated individuals and we are so grateful for their endless support.

Register for th e Senior Women's Indoor Tournament   Indoors

Registration is now open f or the Senior Women's Indoor Field Hockey Tournament. 

The tournament will take place from February 1-3, 2019 at the Island Savings Centre in Duncan, BC.

Men's National Team at the 2018 FIH World Cup  MNT

The Canadian Men's National Team recently competed in the 2018 FIH World Cup in Bhubaneswar, India. 

Coming in ranked as world #11, Team Canada completed their round robin with two losses and a tie, including a gutsy 2-1 loss to the #3 ranked Belgian team, who went on to win the World Cup. This record qualified the Canadians for a crossover match-up against the Netherlands with the winner moving on to the quarter-finals. 

The #4 ranked Netherlands ended the tournament for Canada with a 5-0 win in the crossover match and the Canadian team exited the World Cup in 11th place. Belgium ended up winning the FIH World Cup with a 1-0 win over the Netherlands in a shootout.  

After the completion of the tournament, Team Canada has been moved into 10th place in world ranking by the FIH. For a full recap of Canada's participation at the World Cup, click here.
