The Chinese Delegation Visits ESI   

Our President, Stephen Mullin, as well as two of our research analysts, Peiyong Yu and Jing Liu, met with 4 members from the Chinese Delegation from the Yaohai District, Hefei, led by Mr. Gao Qiang, Vice President Mayor of the People's Government of Yaohai District and Citizen Diplomacy International. The purpose was to explore future business opportunities and strengthen ties between Philadelphia and Hefei.

PenTrans Honors Ed D'Alba at their Holiday Party

PenTrans celebrated the holiday season by honoring Ed D'Alba, former President of Urban Engineers, and this year's recipient of the 2016 Multimodal Transportation Advocate. Co-Chair of PenTrans, Beverly Harper, was also recognized and given an award on behalf of the PenTrans Board for her incredible work for the organization. The evening celebrated all the work PenTrans has done for the past 15 years and gave board members and transportation-minded people a chance to come together, network, and celebrate. Read more here

ULI Philadelphia's First Ever Shark Tank

Our President and Resident Shark Stephen Mullin, and our Senior Advisor, Christophe Terlizzi, were among those selected for the ULI Philadelphia's Shark Tank panel. The two of them alongside Sara Doelger and John Westrum judged 3 n ew  major development projects all focusing on developments in areas undergoing redevelopment and change in  Philadelphia. Our Sh arks asked the tough questions including budget, New Market Tax Credits, and more. Read more here
CRE Holiday Party

President and Principal Richard Voith hosted the Delaware Valley Chapter Counselors of Real Estate Annual Holiday Party on December 15, 2016 at the Pyramid Club. Attendees had the opportunity to network and engage with local leaders in the real estate industry atop the BNY Mellon Center. Towards the end of the evening Dick thanked everyone for attending and welcomed Michael Silverman as the 2017 Chair of the Delaware Valley Chapter.

Econsult Solutions and Roubini ThoughLab launched a joint venture prior to the release of the report building on each firms' extensive capabilities of meeting the needs of clients in today's analytics age.



Roubini Thoughtlab worked with Cognizant to create the definitive analysis on how digital transformation will impact work and corporate performance. 800 senior executives were surveyed as part of a larger, global study into understanding the changing nature of work across different fields (healthcare, banking and financial services) and regions (Asia Pacific and Europe). ESI would like to welcome our newest staff member, Lauralynn Burtner , who joined the firm in early December. Laura will be working with our joint venture, Roubini ThoughtLab , as well as supporting the Marketing and Business Development team at ESI.

Lauralynn Burtner

Prior to joining ESI, Laura spent ten years providing marketing and brand communications for a variety of clients. She is versed in  writing and graphic design both print and web publication. Her clientele ranged from land conservation and historic preservation non-profit organiz ations to transportation engineering consultants and developers
