Hello Everyone,

 

We are getting closer to Spring, and I am so excited about that!  I hope everyone dried out after all of the wet weather.

 

If you didn't come to the Home Show, you missed a great one.  We were sold out with 125 booths and had well over 2,000 in attendance.

 

I would like to thank Rose Catalano with SWBC Mortgage for serving all of the exhibitors.  She and her team do such a great job, and I know everyone really appreciates it.

 

Our presenting Sponsor was Breeden Dodge.  Other Sponsors included: Tornado Place, Lumber One, Shire Inc, Chaffee Redevelopment Authority, Fort Smith Board of Realtors, Brown Hiller Clark, Better Homes Supply, OG&E, First National Bank, and Chuck Fawcett Realty.  And did I mention Rose?  =)  We could not have had such a successful Home Show without all of these people.  Be sure to tell them thanks when you see them.  I'd also like to give recognition to Aimee Edens and her team for all of their hard work.  Let's not forget about Stephanie who works tirelessly to make the Home Show such a great event.

 

If you have a student who would like to apply for the Mason Barr Scholarship, don't forget the deadline is March 16.  This is a great opportunity for your student to have some extra money toward college expenses.

 

Our Mason Barr Golf Tournament is May 11th.  If you haven't gotten your team signed up, please do so soon because we usually sell out.

 

Be sure to make our general membership meeting at 21 West End this month and bring someone with you.

 

The 2018 Showcase Home lot is closed out, the permit was purchased, and construction has begun.  If you haven't turned in your proposal to donate your product(s) for the 2018 Showcase Home, there is still time.  Our Committee has met once and will be meeting again soon.  We have some great associates who have stepped up and made big donations, and it is starting to get very exciting!
