Welcome to our first newsletter!
In this monthly segment our goal is to share important information and insight on the operations of your local Democratic Party. When I was elected Chair of the Marion County Democrats last November, I promised to work with the rest of our leadership to professionalize this organization by developing systems and structures that ensures we move the local party forward.
After 10 years in our old office, I am proud of the work your executive committee has done to make the move into our new facility possible. We took occupancy of our new location at 245 High Street NE on June 1st and the feedback we have received from our fellow Democrats and members of the community has been phenomenal. This location has an open layout that will better meet our organizational needs, and be more accessible for all members of our community.
We are also working to make this space available to other organizations that support progressive values. Stay tuned for more information on how groups and organizations can rent the facility. At the end of the day our goal is to make the Marion County Democrats office a safe and accessible meeting space for members of our community. We are well on our way to making that goal a reality!
Of course a new facility and new systems including this newsletter are not cheap. Your
generous donation
of any amount will allow us to keep our facility open and spread our message across our community.
