The production tells the tale of the talented son of two teachers living in Kaarina who became the most famous Finnish artist in the world. Tom of Finland Foundation would like to thank Suzanne Forbes for her generous donation of six original drawings to our permanent collection. Forbes is a Queer, disabled, kinky, sex-positive documentary artist.
We are very happy to have these works in our possession.
| | Over the last forty-five days, the Foundation has worked to better understand our longstanding storage arrangements, aiming to provide better care for the Tom of Finland collection in the long term. Mark Hammons advised our team at TOM House to create an assessment of this irreplaceable archive, offering recommendations that respects the past, present, and future of the Tom of Finland collection. | | Yesterday, fetish icon and our very own 2023 Cultural Icon Award winner Violet Chachki stopped by TOM House. We had a great time showing them around the archives and our library. | | |
