Town focusing on investment attraction | |
Georgina's 500+ acres of employment lands are in development, with more than 200 acres being developed by Panattoni Development Company and another 100+ acres at various stages within the development process.
With 370,000 sq. ft. of industrial space coming available for lease later this year and Georgina's overall growing appeal, the Town is ramping up investment-attraction marketing. A recent partnership with York Region will assist the Economic Development and Tourism Office with its efforts. A new dedicated website and branded marketing content are underway to enhance the Town's brand as the next place to invest in the GTA.
So, why Georgina and why now? Georgina's proximity to major urban markets, relatively affordable real estate in the GTA, access to HWY 404 and more planned transportation infrastructure, and the rapidly growing population are some of the main reasons investors are looking north.
