Georgina is a thriving destination close to the city where young and old can experience everything the cooler months offer. We have it all: ice fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, snowkiting, tubing and more. The Town also has several shopping, dining and accommodation options, making it an appealing destination.
The 2024 Winter Tourism Guide is the best resource for all things to see and do within our lakeside communities. View the guide online or pick it up at Town facilities or the Visitor Information Centre at 20849 Dalton Rd. in Sutton. Grant applications are now open for 2024 events or initiatives | |
Are you preparing to host a spectacular festival or initiative that will enrich our culture, foster community growth, or make a positive economic impact? Look no further! The Town's Economic, Culture, and Community Betterment Grant Program is ready to support your endeavours and transform your vision into reality.
In 2023, 18 grant recipients, including the Georgina Studio Tour, Georgina Marathon and Half Marathon and Military Day, received funding and support.
Eligible applicants could receive up to 50 per cent of their total eligible expenses, up to a maximum of $5,000. Learn more and apply online before the first intake deadline on Feb. 16, 2024.

Digital Transformation Grant
A limited number of Digital Transformation Grants (DTG), to receive $2,500 to support your digital marketing needs, are available. The application portal will be open until Jan. 31 or until the grants are exhausted. The Digital Transformation Grant program is designed to assist small businesses with the adoption of technologies. It provides training, advisory support and grants to brick-and-mortar small businesses looking to increase their capacity through digital transformation. Don't miss out!
