Did you know, Subarashii Kudamono grows 7 distinct Asian Pear varieties, each "wonderfully" unique and delicious! Our orchards started as a small backyard project followed by a lot of tireless effort to cultivate fruit trees perfectly suited to our southeast Pennsylvania climate. And now, each fall we harvest and ship fresh Asian Pears to customers throughout the country!

Recipe of the Month

"Sweet & Heat" Chicken Crostini is a dish waiting for our fresh Asian Pear harvest just like we are. A crusty French Bread crostini base is topped with wilted spinach. Cayenne-spiced chicken is layered on for heat and a final garnish of brown-sugar coated Asian Pears adds a perfect balance of sweetness. Enjoy big flavor in this rustic and satisfying dish.
