At the top of this email, you’ll find a short video featuring our Executive Director of Development & Marketing, Nicholle Granger, and Ashley, a mother of two who has been deeply affected by recent changes in SNAP benefit policy. In the interview, Ashley talks about the difficult choices she has been forced to make and the simple things she hoped to give her children for the holidays.


At the end of the video, Nicholle surprises Ashley with a $50 gift card made possible by donors like you. Ashley was also paired with a community partner to gather gifts for her family this season.

Holiday Gift Card Campaign

Thanks to your generosity, we’ve raised $8,293 in grocery and gas gift cards so far, including monetary gifts used to buy cards. Every card helps a parent like Ashley choose what their family needs most. For some, it means filling the fridge. For others, it means keeping the car running so they can get to work or bring their children to school or care.
