A supplement to the FAA 2015 Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for part 147, aviation maintenance training schools, was published on April 16 ( click here for the full history on part 147). In its comments (linked below) the council asked for a more simplified approach to competency-based and dual-enrollment programs, and for FAA deference to overseers of accredited programs.
