Your voice is needed: Serve on a local government board or commission

​We believe that your perspective as a business leader is essential to help guide decision-making in the Toledo region. The Chamber often receives requests from area officials for recommendations to serve on local government boards and commissions. It is vital that these bodies include the expertise of our business community to inform decisions that impact our residents and overall business climate.

Terra State is one of our new members who joined in late 2021, and we are thrilled to share in their excitement of this well-deserved recognition.

ODOT: Update on I-75 Construction Project

04.14 – The ongoing I-75 project will have a major impact on our region, and that includes your business and workforce.

Join ODOT at the Toledo Lucas County Public Library on April 14 from 8-9 a.m. in the first-floor large glass community room to hear an update on the project and learn how you can anticipate the ways it will transform our region. No registration necessary.

Your Feedback Matters: TARTA Next Service Scenarios Survey

The TARTA Next project has the potential to transform how your employees get to work, the talent pool open to you, and your access to new clientele and customers. As a follow up to our March FOCUS|2022 presented by KeyBank event with TARTA CEO Laura Koprowski, please take the time to share your feedback with TARTA.

04.19 – During this FOCUS|2022 presented by KeyBank event, Executive Director Stuart James will discuss his plans for The Ability Center and his vision for northwest Ohio. Attendees can also expect FOCUS lunch mainstays, including updates from the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce, Regional Growth Partnership and Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority; networking with other business leaders and like-minded community members; and a delicious lunch provided by the Toledo Museum of Art.

Small Business Development Class: Build Your Digital Presence

04.20 – Learn how to maximize the digital presence for your business through the usage of various website and digital optimization tools. This free business development class will be led by the Business Development Services Team of the SBDC.

The SBDC provides one-on-one counseling centered on the business planning process, including financing, market research, marketing strategies, and management and cash flow analysis.

2022 Annual Meeting presented by Fifth Third Bank
