We are entering the last couple of weeks of Session in the General Assembly and the time when important policy decisions will be made. Now is the time to express your point of view on key issues like the minimum wage, paid family and medical leave, site readiness funds, Elevate Delaware, recreational marijuana, and more.
Visit our Action Network at www.DSCC.com/takeaction to receive updates, see our position on these issues and others, and contact your legislators. For further information, contact Tyler Micik, our manager of public policy here at the State Chamber.
Your voice matters. As many businesses resume full operations after a challenging 16 months, it is important for policymakers to hear your support or concerns. I believe Members of the General Assembly are trying to do the right thing, but they need to hear your informed view to make the best possible decisions.
Join the conversation tomorrow at our End-of-Session Policy Conference. We’ll hear from the Senate President Pro Tempore David Sokola and House Speaker Pete Schwartzkopf on how they see these last three weeks sorting out. You can still register here for this virtual event.
