We welcome Teri Poux

We’re thrilled to welcome Teri to JCA Interages! She brings valuable experience from her time as a Volunteer Coordinator with the Village of Kensington, where she connects older adult residents with dedicated volunteers and essential services. Before that, Teri spent 20 years as a preschool teacher, working with 3-year-olds. She’s excited to join the Interages team and looks forward to working with our incredible volunteers and community partners

To all of our incredible volunteers: THANK YOU for your time, your heart, and your belief in the power of intergenerational connection. You are helping to create a more inclusive, supportive world—one moment, one conversation, one relationship at a time. 💛

Here we highlight some volunteers who have gone above and beyond. All JCA volunteers will be celebrated at our annual Volunteer Recognition and Award Ceremony on April 27 at Ring House from 2- 4pm. RSVPs are required for participation.

Youth volunteer Alexa brings her bright and lively dedication to the JCA Interages SHARE (Students Help and Reach Elders) Program, where older adults and youth make meaningful connections, learn from one another, and have fun! The program includes fun activities during weekly one-hour programs such as conversation, arts and crafts, STEM activities, music, and interactive games. We congratulate Alexa on receiving this well-deserved Youth Service recognition award.
