Meet Liz!

Liz has run recreationally all her life. She started running trails (and trail races!) when she moved to Ohio and found Western Reserve Racing.

One of her favorite things about trail races is the people. When running the Dirty Snowflake, she was encouraged to go back out and get extra miles because she still had time. That support helped her realize she could run farther, and it spurred an interest in running marathons. 

Liz is working on teaching her two kids to love running. When they run with her, she plays a video game with them in return. It is a win-win!

Meet Megan!

This will be her first trail marathon after running quite a few trail half marathons and other distances with Western Reserve.

She participates regularly with a local running group, and she thanks many in that group for introducing her to trail running years ago.

Running has become a huge part of Megan's life. It helps her cope with mental health struggles, and she loves going out into the woods to run for a few hours.
