PART 1: Isn't the World Better Off Without Religion?
Text: Luke 23:27-31

John Lennon’s famous hymn to atheism, “Imagine,” asks us to imagine a world where religion doesn’t exist anymore.  His premise is that the world would then be at peace.  Many people believe that religion is the cause of so much strife in our world, and that the worst culprit is Christianity.  But what would our world actually look like if Christianity didn’t exist?  And what happens in almost every society that adopts atheism?  Is the world better off without religion?  Absolutely not!
