THIS SUNDAY:

The Devil's Playbook
Part 2: Hungry Like the Wolf
Text: Genesis 25:29-34

We continue our series The Devil's Playbook this week with a look at gluttony — Genesis 25:29-34. Esau traded his birthright for a bowl of stew, and the story still hits close to home: how fast a craving can dress itself up as an emergency, and how easily we trade something lasting for something immediate. We'll dig into an ancient monk's diagnosis of this exact pattern, watch how Jesus faced the same temptation and didn't take the deal, and walk away with a real way to train our minds before the next "bowl" gets handed to us.

Men, this Fall, Fight Club is digging into a modern, Christian classic on being a Christian man--John Edredge's Wild at Heart.  God designed men to be powerful, but somewhere between boyhood and the expectations of adulthood, we lost heart. Passion and dreams get buried by deadlines and disappointment. This study will help you uncover a biblical picture of who God created you to be as a man and rediscover your passion to fight for those you love and this world.

Sign up HERE and join us August 12th upstairs in Room 10 at 6:30pm.
