This Sunday at Gray Methodist:

The 4:19 Initiative
Part 1: Surrender
Text: 1 Chronicles 28:9-10

What does it really mean to surrender your life to God? This Sunday, we begin The 4:19 Initiative by looking at David’s challenge to Solomon: serve God with a whole heart and a willing mind. Before God asks for what’s in our hands, He wants our hearts. Surrender is more than agreeing with what God is doing—it means giving Him our “yes” before we even know what He will ask. Join us Sunday as we ask the question that comes before everything else:
Does God have me?

This Sunday at Clinton Methodist:

Gather at the Table
Part 1: A Table Wider than We Know

Text: 1 Corinthians 10:16-17; Isaiah 25:6-9; Luke 22:7-13

This Sunday at Clinton we begin a five-week series, Gathered at the Table, exploring the tables Jesus sat at, set, and sent his people to set. Our first message, from 1 Corinthians 10, Isaiah 25, and Luke 22, gives the big picture: Jesus' Table is wide enough for people who aren't here yet, long enough to include the saints who came before us and the children who will follow, and set by God through ordinary people who already know how to set a table.

There’s a place set for you this Sunday. See you there!

Opportunities to Serve

Our Kids Ministry is growing, and we want to make sure every child who comes through our doors is welcomed, loved, and able to fully participate in the life of our church. As we continue welcoming children with autism, learning disabilities, and other unique needs, we have two important opportunities to serve.

First, we are looking for someone with professional training or experience working with children with special needs who can partner with Kristin, our Kids Ministry Director. This person would help us evaluate and improve our learning environments, develop best practices, and equip and train our Kids Ministry team to serve these children well.

Second, we are building a team of buddies—caring adults and students who can come alongside individual children when they need a little extra support. A buddy helps a child participate alongside everyone else: learning about Jesus, joining activities, building friendships, and knowing that they belong.

You don't have to be an expert to be a buddy. You simply need a heart for kids, a willingness to learn, and a desire to help every child experience the love of Jesus and the life of His church.

If either of these opportunities sounds like a way God may be calling you to serve, contact Kristin at children@graymethodist.org
