Part 5: Commitment
Text: 1 Chronicles 29:6-20


What happens when our individual “yes” becomes a collective “yes”? This Sunday, we commit to The 4:19 Initiative by looking at the moment when David, the leaders, and the people all respond together in worship, generosity, and commitment. Commitment turns intention into declaration, and unity turns individual obedience into shared mission. We may give different amounts and make different sacrifices, but we are united around one purpose: making disciples who make disciples. Join us Sunday as we ask what it means for all of us to be all in together.

Gather at the Table
Part 5: The Table that Outlasts Us

Isaiah 25:7-8; Hebrews 11-12

On All Saints Sunday we finish our series by remembering the faithful who set the Table before us. We’ll hear from Isaiah and Hebrews that the Table is long enough to hold them still, and that nothing they gave is wasted. We will share Communion together, and we will say their names.

On Sunday, November 1st, we will celebrate the members of our churches who have gone on to glory in the last year and proclaim our belief in the resurrection of the dead at Christ's return. Below is a list of those members. If you know of a member of the church that has passed away and is not on this list, please contact the church office at 478-986-3668 or admin@graymethodist.org.

Our Dementia Caregiver Support Group will host a Dementia Virtual Tour on Friday, November 6th at 2PM. Join us for a virtual experience that helps participants understand some of the sensory and practical challenges people living with dementia may face in everyday life. We will meet in Conference Room 1.

ATTN BOARD MEMBERS:

Our annual charge-wide meeting for Gray and Clinton is scheduled for November 8th at 2pm in Conference Room 1. All members of Clinton's Board and Gray's Board are encouraged to attend for voting. Any may attend.

The 4:19 Initiative Christmas Greenery Fundraiser

All proceeds will go to The 4:19 Initiative. Orders are due to Dawn Mills on Sunday, November 8th, and delivery will be the week of Thanksgiving. See attached flyers for pricing and information and order sheets. Be sure to share this fundraiser with all your friends and families! Thanks for your support!
Should you have any questions or would like to order something for yourself, see Dawn Mills. (Checks should be made payable to the church.)

The WIM Fall Bake sale will be Sunday, November 22nd before and after both services. Contact Ginny Garland if you would like to bake something! Drop off your baked in the kitchen at Gray Methodist on Saturday the 21st from 9am-12pm.

Also, please note that WIM will have pecans for sale this Sunday.
They will be $15/lb (chopped or halved).

A Special Note to the kids (and parents) who gave generously 
to our VBS mission project: 
Through the Gray Methodist Vacation Bible School and Missions Minded Kids partnership in 2025, your children helped provide a place where children in Kenya can play, make friends, and enjoy being kids.

The playground arrived in Kenya in July of 2026, and installation began soon afterward. Over the following weeks, security fencing, solar lights, and a cement border were added to help prepare the space for the community.

I hope you’ll share these photos with your children so they can see what their generosity helped make possible. Their willingness to care for children thousands of miles away has made a lasting difference, a gift that children in Maai Mahiu can enjoy for years to come.

Thank you for helping your children put their faith into action and for being such a special part of Naomi’s Village. We are grateful for each of you!
