ASID vs Nari Chopped Challenge
This week Cynthia had the pleasure of being on the ASID team for the ASID vs NARI Chopped Challenge. Her teammates included Julie Mifsud, Sharon Daroca, and Kevin Daroca. The ingredients they received in their basket were Tiger Prawns, Sea Scallops, Bacon, Heirloom Carrots, and Cacao Powder.
With these ingredients they created Poche
du mer et
(pocket of of the sea and land) as their appetizer
and for dessert a mountain of sweet vanilla whipped creme with fresh berries cascading into a pool of chocolate creme anglaise. Unfortunately the ASID team was chopped, but it was so much fun to be a part of such a great event.
