Please bring your plastic eggs and goodies to the church, and drop them off at the table outside the nursery. We need your contributions by Sunday, 3/28.

Palm Crosses Maker Space

Saturday, March 28, 10AM

Remember making palm crosses in the church pews? Capture that feeling again and join us Saturday, March 28th , 10 am, in the Parish Hall to make space for fellowship and  make palm crosses for the Palm Sunday congregation. Sandra Weir has brought back the creative process of making Palm Crosses for the beginning of Holy Week. Don’t miss this opportunity to create a piece of our Palm Sunday service. All supplies will be provided.

Prayer Vigil

Our prayer vigil starts 9pm after the Maundy Thursday service, and continues until 10am on Good Friday.

The church will stay open overnight for anyone who wishes to stay and watch and pray, either in the chapel or the sanctuary. Appropriate prayers and supplications will be there for your use. This is one way to respond

to Jesus’ question to Peter in the Garden of Gethsemane, “Could you not watch one hour?” (Mark 14:37)

A sign-up sheet will be available in the narthex - choose an hour to come and pray.

Lent Madness

On the Road to the Final Four

2 more match ups until we see the Final Four battling for the Golden Halo. Beset with difficult choices, surprising determinations of who I feel should move on to the next round, yet the realization has settled on me that this has been a most inspiring group to learn about and root for as the bracket narrows to the final two for the Golden Halo.

Who will win the Golden Halo?

Flowers are generally not used during the season of Lent.

Altar Flowers

In 2026, our set of 2 Altar floral arrangements will be present at regular St. Timothy’s Sunday services only on the occasions when parishioners provide flowers for special thanksgivings or remembrances. Floral arrangements may be given in memory, thanksgiving or celebration of whomever and/or for whatever the person/family donating flowers chooses for that selected Sunday. A pamphlet by the Flower Chart in the Narthex outlining this process is available. Please do note on our wall-mounted flower chart the Sunday(s) you wish to provide flowers and sign on that date. We have 2 local floral shops—Carriage Flowers and LJ Flower Co.—we use. By the Monday or Tuesday of the week before your selected Sunday contact your choice of shop to arrange for and pay the flower shop directly for your 2 arrangements order. You will no longer provide a check to St. Timothy’s for flowers. Kim Lehnhoff will coordinate flowers and is available to help with any step in the process of arranging for your flowers. Contact Kim at (979) 299-9777 or email kim60lehn@gmail.com with questions or for help.
