Last night’s regular board of directors’ meeting had a rather short agenda and below are a few notes:
- The Governance Committee is continuing its important, but time consuming work rewriting the USASA Policy Manual. They have completed another section and the NBOD will take it up for approval at the next regular meeting.
- President Motta will be at the groundbreaking for the new U.S. Soccer Training Center in Atlanta.
- The NBOD will be meeting in person in Chicago later this month to focus on strategic planning.
- The next meeting will be May 1st.
As noted below, we have increased the office staff in past couple of months and rearranged roles and responsibilities. They have hit the ground running and are doing great work. There will be some bumps in the road as we make this transition, and I appreciate all the members’ patience as everyone settles into new positions. Please extend to them the warm welcome that you have extended me during the past year.
