USASA FAQ's

Q: An incident occurred at one of our State Association sanctioned games where a referee was hit in the head by a kicked ball. She was concussed, and also fell and broke her wrist.

She was treated in the hospital. Does USASA liability provide coverage under the policy for the referee is a "participant" and would therefore have coverage under the policy?

A: Yes, the injury would fall under Group Accident coverage and the referees are covered under participants. Unless the BuyUp has been purchased by the USASA member, the limit for Accident Medical Expense is 5K.
