Just to let you all know that you will be receiving additional communications from USASA in the next couple of days and weeks as we approach the AGM. Between candidate announcements, AGM reminders, releasing of the budget and information about new and ongoing efforts to increase the value of your USASA membership, there will be more emails and communications than usual. We will try to keep each communication focused on one particular topic. Please take the time to read each as some will contain critical information for those attending the AGM.

I hope all of you can join us in Texas. A fun night is planned at the FC Dallas game on Saturday -- Texas barbecue at the tailgate before the game and more beverages afterwards. We'll have buses to get everyone from the hotel to the stadium and back again. Three new Hall of Fame inductees will be honored on Friday at our annual banquet. Plus, we'll be discussing what the path forward looks like for USASA. I'm excited about our future and look forward to discussing it with all of you in Texas.

As part of our efforts to update our website, we have made some changes to the pages with member information. The member directories will now only show the state office address, phone number and website with the logo. The member website link will direct everyone to each member's website.

Please review and be sure your state office address, phone number and website links are listed and correct. Contact Amber if something needs to be added or updated.

More information about upcoming changes, including a password protected member portal with a full USASA member contact list, will be coming soon.

EPLWA (Evergreen Premier League Washington) finished its regular season of play in mid- July and their playoffs begin afterwards with four teams participating. They had four teams from Eastern Washington: Yakima United FC, Spokane Shadow and the Spokane Surf and were joined by the Everett Jets from Western Washington. The League championship finals was held the weekend of July 27 & 28.

Yakima United FC won the EPLWA Championship by a very convincing 6-1 victory bringing home the Peter Ostrovsky trophy home to their fans. Congratulations!
