EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR MESSAGE

A very productive and positive (no COVID pun intended here) AGM was concluded this past weekend. We will have more to say in a separate AGM wrap up newsletter shortly.


We all congratulate Jim Sadowski on being elected President of the National Board of Directors.


We also congratulate and welcome MaryBeth Falk to the NBOD. Newly elected regional officers are: Region I, Cezar Wasecki - Regional Director; Region II, David Altesleben - Deputy Director, Paula Hildman - Treasurer; Region III, Nicole McMaster - Secretary; Region IV, Dan Trainor - Deputy Director, Tom Moore - Treasurer. Congratulations on joining the existing leadership team or continuing on the team in a new position.


Please note that the next regular NBOD meeting will be Thursday, Oct. 10th at 7p CDT. The link will be posted on our website on Wednesday the 11th.

If you have not submitted the form yet, the link is located in the member portal.

We ask that only one person for each member organization complete the form.


You will also find all of the newsletters since March.

We will continue to add newsletters as they are sent out.


In addition, if you would like to add anyone, not already receiving it or who has not been added to the contact list form, to the newsletter distribution list, you can complete the form included in the portal.


We have added some two insurance powerpoint presentations as a resource, if needed, and will be adding much more over time.

Cindy Parlow Cone, US Soccer Federation President, 2x Olympic Gold Medalist, former USWNT player and 1999 Women's World Cup Champion will be in attendance Saturday morning and on Sunday, Kim Crabbe who was the first African American woman to play for the USWNT from 1986 - 1988. She lives in eastern NC where she is the Outreach Program Director for the Wilmington Hammerheads Youth Football Club. She coaches and mentors youth players in underserved communities. Two years ago in her honor, US Soccer introduced the Kim Crabbe Game Changers Award, focused on advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging across all areas of American soccer.
