NEWSLETTER

This week's newsletter is not on the usual Thursday. A separate communication will be coming out later today with a recap of the Board of Directors meeting from Thursday, October 10th. Please watch your email for that recap, later today. Jim has asked that we provide these preliminary notes from the meeting on the day following each regular meeting. Thus, this regular newsletter will move to the day following the NBOD meeting during that week.

Please also note that the NBOD meeting dates / times are posted on the website along with the meeting link (posted the day before). 

COMMITTEE OPENINGS:

All of the standing committees are appointed following the Annual General Meeting in

accordance with our bylaws. President Jim Sadowski announced at the Board of

Directors meeting that appointments will be open to the full membership.

If you are interested in serving on a committee, please indicate your interest and a very brief description/summary of your qualifications by completing the form using the link below. Recommendations from any NBOD member will also be considered. Your interest will be sent to Secretary Karon Beyer and Executive Director Bruce Bode

to be collated for Jim.

Nominations will remain open for all committees, except for the National Cups

ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS WITH MEMBERSHIP:

Jim and Bruce will begin a series of one-on-one meetings with member organization

leaders, starting the week of October 21st . The meetings will continue each week until

completed. Meetings are expected to take place during traditional business

hours (9am– 5pm). A separate communication will be sent to membership leaders in the next few days to begin scheduling those meetings.

USI FOLLOW UP:

As a follow up from the AGM, we will be setting up a date and time in the coming weeks

with USI to continue the conversation from the AGM.

In the meantime, please use this form to provide any additional questions you would like answers to or general topics you would like discussed.

THE REFEREE ABUSE PREVENTION (RAP) WORKING GROUP is pleased to invite you to the Phase 2 Open Session focusing on an updated penalties framework proposal and associated policy implications to 531-9 – Misconduct Toward Game Officials on October 15 and/or October 16.
