The Buckeye Spirit has been strong this week! The momentum heading into the weekend is contagious! Thank you to the Student Council for a fun-filled week and pep rally! Thank you to our students and staff for demonstrating kindness and Buckeye pride. Thank you to everyone who has pitched in and worked so hard to bring such joy to our school. We really are “Proud to be a Buckeye”
Our 7th & 8th Graders are spending the day at Holy Fire as part of their faith journey for the Sacrament of Confirmation, it will certainly be a fantastic experience. Thank you to Molly McGowan and Patrick McGowan for organizing such a powerful day.
On this day, 11 years ago, our school and community lost our beloved Patrick McNamara. Please take a moment today to remember “Pat Mac” and the love, joy, and resilience he modeled for our entire community. We hope to see you at the Homecoming games on Saturday! Go Buckeyes! -
Mr. Jonathan Stack & Ms. Grace Sadowski

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE PROCEDURES
when driving to and from school
Adhering to the standards set when driving to school is critical to school safety. Below are a few important points for all those involved with school transportation. We ask that you review these rules and share them with any caregivers that may be driving your child.
| |
School Parking Lot
When utilizing the main parking lot at drop off and pick up, all cars must enter from Walden Parkway. Entrance or exit from Longwood is strictly prohibited during arrival and dismissal times.
There are two options for drop off in the main lot, a quick drop off lane, or park and walk your child to the school entrance. Please see the map for proper lanes and usage.
| | |
Additional drop off information -
Drop off and pick up are NOT allowed on Longwood Dr.
Due to current construction at the church, the west side of Longwood is for construction vehicles only. Drop off and pick up are never allowed on Longwood's east side.
Northside of School: 101st Street
To prevent traffic back-ups and keep our students safe, 101st Street may only be utilized for students exiting the car quickly and independently. If your child needs assistance getting out of the vehicle (help with safety buckles, assistance with backpacks, etc.) or if you wish for an extended farewell, please use the main parking lot or 101st Place.
Near the Church: 101st Place, west of Longwood
Drivers may park and walk or allow students to exit and walk from 101st Place. Stopping a vehicle near the crosswalk or no-parking zone directly in front of the church is not permitted at any time. Also, be mindful that 101st Place is a one-way residential street, please absolutely no blocking of driveways. The small lot west of the church is reserved for Parish staff and visitors only.
