This Week's Scripture Links:

There's a New Pastor in Town

On December 22, 2019, members of Rejoice Lutheran Church voted to issue a “call” to Pastor Jim Bump upon the recommendation of the Call Committee. The result of Rejoice members was an overwhelming positive vote to accept the recommendation of the Call Committee. Pastor Jim Bump will begin serving as the pastor of Rejoice on January 2, 2020.

Thank you to the Call Committee Members: Matt Staehling, Lindsay Sand, Mike Barrett, Sara Hagemeister and Chris Schill. All of us at Rejoice wish to thank you for your time, effort and dedication to the difficult and important task of the search for a new pastor. We know there have been many hours of prayer, study, and thoughtful discussion that took place during this time. We know that the committee has been working hard to listen to and follow God’s leading. We at Rejoice are indebted to you for your service. God bless you all.
