A Few Reminders!
‘…good measure, pressed down, shaken together… ’ Within the last 3 weeks every household (should have) received a letter and commitment card for your 2019 financial offerings. (If yours did not arrive, let the office know and another will be provided for you.) After prayerful discernment about how you might s-t-r-e-t-c-h your giving for the sake of Christ’s mission here at Rejoice, please return the commitment cards to the church office. Due date: this Sunday, Jan. 13.
Meet & Greet will be this Sunday (Jan 13) between services for new members! Council members, and any others who would like to share, are also invited to come. Meet and greet these new people and share stories of what it means for you to be a member of Rejoice! Then on Sunday, Jan 20, we formally receive new members and celebrate their presence with us through a pot luck breakfast between services. BTW: Bishop Jon Anderson will also be our guest preacher that Sunday!!

Thanks to all the leaders and committees who remembered to get your annual report(s) into the church office! Honoring deadlines is not as much about a calendar date as it is about honoring and loving the neighbor. Rejoice is blessed to have Carol and others who pull together all this important information and have it ready for us as one cohesive annual report!

Did you know that bible camp participants often become camp counselors? So, parents and young people, it’s not too early to start thinking about a week of summer bible camp. The weeks fill up rapidly at Green Lake Lutheran Ministries. Early discount sign up time will be over before we know it. Registration forms can be found on-line at www.gllm.org . And just in case you looked at the cost and thought, “we can’t afford this right now,” remember: there are always scholarship resources available for those who would like to attend

Commitment of Support
Jesus said, ‘…give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back.’ (Luke 6.38)

Please prayerfully consider your ‘good measure’ response and return your commitment card using the pre-addressed envelope, or you are welcome to drop them off at church. Please return your commitment card by this Sunday, January 13 . Thank you!
