Toy Story Snapology Workshop!
There is still time to sign up for the Toy Story Snapology workshop. This workshop will give your child an opportunity to bring their favorite characters to life and experience some of the toys’ most exciting adventures! Drive Sober & Click It or Ticket

The holidays are a time for celebration, but if you are at an office party, a family party or at a bar, please make the lifesaving choice to drive sober when the party ends. Our Police Department is partnering with IDOT and the State Police to get impaired drivers off the road. The Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over and Click It or Ticket campaigns run from December 13 through January 1 and are funded with federal highway safety dollars and administered by IDOT in partnership with law enforcement throughout Illinois and the nation .

Nippersink District 2
Kindergarten Screening
The Nippersink School District 2 Kindergarten Screening will be held on February 5, 6, and 7. They encourage all children entering kindergarten at Spring Grove Elementary or Richmond Grade School in the fall of 2020 to participate. The screening will take place at the District Office located at 4213 Route 12 in Richmond . Call 815/678-6866 to make an appointment beginning Monday, December 2. The deadline for making an appointment is Friday, December 20.
Blast from the Past
Kate Shotliff Sanborn, with her 5-year old son Johnny Sanborn and her 21-year old daughter Alice Shotliff Wagner, took a sleigh ride down Main Street in 1910. They are in front of the old Main Street Foods store at the NE corner of Main Street and Blivin. Alice Wagner was married to Joe Wagner the barber in town.
