Mark your calendars for this year's Easter Egg Hunt! Join the fun on Saturday, April 13 at 2 PM. Bring your basket, meet the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs. Find the special eggs to win a fun-filled basket or other special prizes! To be held at the RB Community High School gym at 8311 Rte. 31 in Richmond. The hunts start promptly at 2 so don't be late! There is no charge, but please bring a non-perishable food item to help support the local food pantry. View the flyer here .
Community Blood Drive
The Fire Department Community Blood Drive will be Thursday, March 28 from 2:30 - 6:30 PM at 8214 Richardson Road. To make your appointment, schedule on-line at www.versiti.org or call 815-675-2450.
Call for Volunteers
It takes quite a few people to put on an event as big as the 4th of July and additional volunteers are needed to help make this event the best it can be! Many of the volunteer duties are performed before the 4th, not on the 4th, and can be done at home on your computer. Please come join the committee at the Spring Grove Municipal Centre , next Wednesday, February 27, at 7 PM, and see where you can help! If you can't make it but are interested in helping, you can email them here . The 4th of July event is 100% run by volunteers, prior to the 4th, and on the day of the parade and celebration.
Comedy Show this Saturday

It's Registration Time!
It's registration time for the 2019-2020 preschool year at St. Peter's Preschool. This the 23rd year of their very successful program. The Soul Purpose

A gathering for those who are interested in spirituality (not religion) will meet on Sunday March 3, at 10 AM. They will explore what “Living in the Now” can offer. Open discussion and a meditation will be included. As always, the goal is to heighten our level of inner peace and connection to source. Located in the Carriage House Gallery at 2110 Main St. on the second floor of the stone barn. Held the first Sunday of every month. How to Train Your Dog to Respect Furniture
You're invited to a live presentation on how to train your dog to respect your furniture on Friday, March 22 at 5 PM at New Leaf Home Furnishings. Learn expert tips on training your dog to stay off the sofa, stop chewing on furniture and more. The presentation is free, but registration is required as space is limited. Nerf Wars
WLAC Nerf Wars is back! Join them on Saturday, March 9 from 5 - 7 PM for a fun night of Nerf Battles! The fee is $10 per participant and a signed waiver is required. They provide Nerf Elite darts and safety glasses, you provide your Nerf Gun. Advance registration is not required but available online at here . WLAC is located at 2449 Pierce Drive. Holiday Lights Recycling
Holiday light recycling is now provided all year round. Dro p off any unwanted holiday lights or extension cords in the foyer of the Municipal Center Monday - Friday from 8-4. Located at 7401 Meyer Road, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Click here for more information.
