How to Avoid Conflicts with Coyotes
This time of year is mating season for coyotes so they are more active and more observable. They mainly eat mice, rabbits, fawns, and other small prey so don't leave your small pets unattended outside even for a minute and always keep them on a leash when out walking. Also limit unintentional food sources such as bird food, pet food, ripe fruit, and trash. Attacks on humans are extremely rare. View more information on how to avoid conflicts with coyote here .

Used Paint Disposal
Here are some ideas for what to do with leftover paint:
  • Keep Painting! Use up the paint and then just let the can dry and then recycle or dispose of it.
  • Fill the can with kitty litter or other absorbent material. After the paint dries, you can dispose of it.
  • Give it to someone or someplace like a school or theater.
  • Save it for later. Just cover the opening with plastic wrap and make sure the lid fits securely, then turn the paint can upside down. This creates a tight seal and keeps the paint fresh to use again. It also helps to transfer the paint to a smaller can.
