Dear Village Resident,
If you vacation during the winter months, set your thermostat no lower than 55 degrees before leaving to prevent pipes from freezing. Also turn off the breaker to your well pump, open cabinets and closets that contain water lines to allow warm air to circulate around plumbing, and have a neighbor or friend check on your house during severe weather conditions. Link to more vacation tips here !
