Studio life
Settling into a new studio gives us a good opportunity to review studio policies on safety and cleanliness.
Safe studio
We're making steady progress toward resuming normal life again, but we're not there yet and still need to take some precautions.

In compliance with the latest CDC guidance, here are our current expectations of students and members with respect to COVID-19 prevention:
COVID progress
  • If you are fully vaccinated, you do not have to wear a mask in the studio if you do not wish to.
  • If you are not fully vaccinated yet, you must continue to wear a mask at all times in the studio. You must also keep a 6-foot distance between you and everyone else in the studio when possible.
  • Sign in when entering the studio and sign out when leaving the studio. We need to keep track of everyone who has been in the studio.
  • Visit our hand sanitizer station and sanitize your hands when you enter the studio.
  • Do not come to class or open studio if you are unwell.

We will update these expectations as the CDC issues new COVID-19 guidance, so stay tuned.
Clean Studio
Cleaning sponges
A healthy studio is also a clean studio. As community of clay workers, it's up to us to keep the studio clean and welcoming.

We expect all students and members to be conscientious about clean-up and courtesy.
  • Clean your work area and always leave it better than you found it.
  • After throwing, mop the floor around your wheel and clean your mirror.
  • Clean every table surface that you have worked on.
  • After using the glaze area, clean off the table surface and surrounding floor.
  • After you finish cleaning, wipe out your sink.
  • If you receive phone calls, please step out of the work area to talk and do not use speaker phone.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping the studio clean and user friendly.
