Youth & Family Study:
What Does 'Welcome' Look Like In Your Home?
Hi dear friends!
I pray this finds you well in mind, body and spirit.

The Gospel lesson for this week is only three verses long, but they're a very powerful three verses at the end of Matthew chapter 10.  Jesus talks about 'welcome'; what it means; what it looks like; what it tells God.  I came up with a list of questions (dig deep, be honest, be vulnerable) as you talk through the following questions:

-What does 'welcome' mean to you?
-What does 'welcome' look like to you?
-When was the last time you 'welcomed' someone different than yourself?
-Who do you find it difficult to 'welcome'?  Why?
-What can you intentionally do to 'welcome' the people you normally avoid?
-How can you practice 'welcome' this week, as an individual, as a family?

I pray this can spark some discussion among you, your family and your friends.  Sending my love to you all.

During these unprecedented times, please let me know what I can do to help and support you and your youth.

Update on 2020 High School Summer Service Trip

Please watch the video or read my letter for an update on this year's High School Summer Service Trip to the Navajo Reservation in NE Arizona.  I have already sent this to the youth, if I have their phone number, because I wanted them to hear it from me first.
Please don't hesitate to email, text or call me if you have any questions.

Here is an article shedding light on the particular challenges our Native sisters and brothers are facing in the midst of this pandemic. Please keep them in your prayers.
