The Contra Costa County Employment and Human Services Department recently announced the selection of Social Change Partners as the organization facilitating stakeholder engagement as part of developing one or more youth centers in the county. The project is funded by the voter-approved Measure X.

In Phase 1 of the Measure X Youth Center project, Social Change Partners will gather input from Contra Costa County youth and community members, with the resulting report helping inform youth center details, such as target audience, programming, services and potential sites.

Phase 2 of the Measure X Youth Center project entails choosing a consultant to develop and operate the center(s). Phase 3 is opening the center(s) and offering services.
