It was determined that the Canadian Halter Futurity Program be suspended at this time. This program will be reviewed on an annual basis.

The 2023 Canadian Halter Futurity classes will be held at the 2023 US National Championship Show and will be held as separate classes from the US National Halter Futurity Classes and adjudicated by a separate panel of judges.

Half-Arabians competing in the Halter Futurity Program must have DNA type of the horse and the horse’s parent on permanent record with AHA and the horse must have been shown as an offspring of the stated purebred Arabian parent. The DNA parent verification must be on file with the AHA office in order for the horse to be eligible to compete in the class.
