Youth Employment Project January 2022 Newsletter

The Youth Employment Project (YEP) is an initiative to promote employment opportunities for teens and young adults. Additionally, YEP strives to provide lifelong skills and experience to further enhance future career paths.

YEP is a partner in Helping Youth Prepare for Employment (HYPE), a Youth Employment Network, a collaboration of community partners including the Workforce Alliance of South Central Kansas, the City of Wichita, the Greater Wichita YMCA, and USD 259. These partners all have well established youth employment programs and work together to achieve significant community impact.

The Greater Wichita YMCA Job Prep Application is open!! The Greater Wichita YMCA's Job Prep Program gets teens, ages 15-17, ready for work with training, development, and certifications in the classroom, and time and experience in the workplace. Application and supporting documents must be brought to an in-person enrollment meeting by Monday, January 24th, 2022 Please call 316.776.8172 to set an appointment time.
