March is Women's
History Monthth
International Women’s Month is a time to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women, who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities.
Let’s make 2021 count for women and girls everywhere. Become a mentor today!
In honor of Women's History Month,
YEP would like to highlight a few
SHE-ROES of our own!
Thank you Imma Pierre, VP of YEP and marvelous Mentor!

Ms. Pierre an entrepreneur as the owner of Imma Pierre Agency, a State Farm Insurance Agency, a mother of two children, and she still finds the time to mentor a senior at Santaluces High School. "Over the past 2 years, I have seen Jahia transform from a shy, withdrawn girl to an expressive, goal-oriented young lady. Jahia has developed a more positive attitude overall as I encouraged her to get involved in extra-curricular activities. She's on the softball team and her grades have gone up. I'm excited for her future!"
Thank you Dr. Davis, Secretary of YEP and Mental Health Expert!

Dr. Davis has contributed to her local community through her work as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, both in private practice and as the former Clinical Director of a treatment facility for adults and adolescents with eating disorders and related mental health issues. As a Board of Director, she adds tremendous value in ideas and approach to meeting youth where they are and creating positive change through education and inspiration.

Future Leaders Prep Course Update
A Future Leader shared her vision board.
The Future Leaders Prep Course is designed for youth ages 14 to22 in Palm Beach County
to learn about leadership development, financial awareness, and job preparedness.

The youth had a lot to share during the racial equity, implicit bias and microaggression segment led by Dr. Jones with PBC Youth Services!

Synovus Bank is leading the charge on the financial awareness workshops. The youth are learning basic budgeting and borrowing skills to get them to think about their future.
