Inspirational Note...
In 2016 a Satsang held in the divine presence in London, the UK when a devotee seeks guidance on adapting to the new age.

Here is what Swami said:

Sathya Yuga, as I have said, is a different season, and it is for a different kind of plants to bloom and grow. This is the age of love and you must have love in your heart. Only people who have pure love will continue to survive and enjoy this new time. All the others, as I answered in the previous question, due to some reason or the other, will destroy themselves and will not continue. If you want to adapt and be in the Sathya Yuga, you have to be golden within. What is ‘golden within’? Pure love is gold. Only if you start developing that pure love, will you be able to fit into this New Age.

God Chants Your Name

We remember God, but how do we make God remember us? If you ever had this question, then this is just for you.

While speaking to Seva volunteers, Swami said,

“When you become a servant of God more than you remembering God, it’s God who remembers you. He keeps calling on you to serve Him and so, it’s God who chants your name instead of you chanting the name of God.”

Well, now you know, if you want to be on top of God’s mind and want God to remember your name, become a servant of God.

Seva in the Middle East
Each week various groups of Seva teams come together to serve those who require assistance. More than the items being offered, love and friendship is shared. Every individual involved, be it the volunteers or the receivers, all express their gratitude to the Lord who is the ultimate Giver. With His grace the Seva activities of the Middle East region have continued with added vigour.

Desert Seva

The newest addition to these activities is the desert Seva which is in its third month currently. In this Seva , a team visits caretakers of animal farms in the desert. They live in small huts made out of aluminum.
Ladies Camp
The ladies camp activities have restarted with continuation of Excel classes, after the short summer break. The sisters here celebrated the start of the festive season by decorating their hands with henna which is considered auspicious in many cultures. They also adorned their hair with fresh jasmines, bringing festive joy to their camp. Always welcoming the ladies Seva teams with love and hugs, these sisters thoroughly enjoyed their pampering session and requested for more in the future. This past month, the team was able to provide them with dishwashing liquid, buttermilk, bathing soap and washing powder.
Youth Seva
The youth Seva too continued with full vigour. The youth group steadily grows with the youngest volunteer being just seven years old. With the name of the Lord on their minds, this group serves bananas to their laborer brothers during their breakfast break every weekend. The team is looking forward to serving hot beverages to their brothers now as the weather starts to cool.

Construction Site Seva
The labour site Seva also continues in full flow. This Seva is being undertaken at two sites and the team provides them a mixed variety of rations such as buttermilk, fresh vegetables, biscuits, cupcakes and more.
Blood Donation Drive
Some members of the Seva team met up at a local government hospital to donate blood. The enthusiastic team spent their afternoon in this activity and they do so on a regular basis!
Narayan Seva
Feeding the poor is equal to feeding the Lord, such is the belief of a group of volunteers who served homemade vegetable biryani to their laborer brothers.

These brothers who work daily in the scorching heat, rarely have anything substantial for their mid-day meals. They welcomed this meal wholeheartedly. Each meal was accompanied with fresh fruit, juice, water and curd.
Serving Those Who Serve
As usual, every other day or so, the disposal truck workers came to work eagerly looking forward to receiving what the youth had prepared. Since the weather had settled into a permanent state of coolness, they were served with cups of steaming hot tea or coffee after a long day of hard work, along with snacks ranging from different types of biscuits and murukku (a traditional savory treat) to sandwiches filled with various kinds of spreads to fresh fruits such as bananas and mandarin oranges. They made themselves comfortable, spent time unwinding and conversing and returned the tray wiped clean, with a sincere smile!
