In California, USA, June 2016, a devotee asked what is the one simplest thing to do each day that would make Swami smile? Swami answered:
The easiest service that you can do is to always smile! That will make Me smile, too. When you smile, everybody else also smiles. Be happy! Happiness is in constantly thinking of God.
In every aspect of your life, go on involving Me as your constant companion, and you will see that I answer. I will talk to you and tell you what to do and what not to do – because, I am the conscience, your inner voice. That is the best thing you can do. That will tell you everything else you need to know; whether, at one moment, you should meet such-and-such person, or you should avoid some person; whether you should go to a certain place, or avoid going to a certain place; whether you should help someone or should resist helping. Everything will come from within; you do not have to look outside.
That is the only way you can be happy, because that voice within, that God within, will constantly guide you and save you from everything that is not good, not nice; everything which would wipe the smile away from your face and hence, wipe the smile from My face, too.

Friday, February 2, 2018 saw the coming together of Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust, the local Government officials and the community to start the breakfast programme for 150 children at Government Primary School in Yedira.

On Saturday, February 3, 2018 marked the day where Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust, in collaboration with Sanjeevani Hospitals, and the Government officials along with the local community, launched its flagship breakfast programme for 390 children in the Government High School, Asaoti.

Saturdays of every weekend are dedicated by the youth of Middle East to serve the labourers at a construction site in Dubai with cool laban packets and snacks.

The mere act of bringing them a packet of cool laban, or a banana or a packet of biscuits, brings a sense of contentment to both the parties.

Volunteers belonging to more than six nationalities get together every Saturday to distribute packets of cool laban and bananas to construction workers toiling under the hot sun to make their ends meet. As always, the workers greeted the volunteers with beaming smiles and their joy was reflected in their eyes.

Over 300 workers in a construction site in the heart of Dubai city are being served every weekend with cool laban packets and bananas during the middle of a hot working day. At times, toiletries and fruits are distributed as a token of love.

I tried to treat all these kids the same way I treat my younger brother or sister and the love-joy that was reciprocated gave me immense self-satisfaction and joy. Later on, I tried to treat everyone else as my brother or as sister, and life has been a lot easier since then.
