We are collecting Mittens to put on Trees!
Both youth groups will be collecting mittens, gloves, hats, scarves and winter headbands all winter long. They will be participating in "Mittens in Trees" again in parternership with the APPC Deacons. All donations will be gladly accepted in the church office.

These gifts of warmth and love will be placed outside in public locations all over Downriver with an appropriate message.

Trunk or Treat - A great family activity
All members of youth group, their family and friends are welcome to decorate a trunk and help us provide and safe and fun Halloween experience for all the little kids in our area. Candy is provided by the APPC Board of Deacons. We just need trunks for the kids to go trick or treating. This all takes place in our south parking lot from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 26 at the Downtown Farmer's Market. If you can help, sign up in the office or shoot Kathy Hollowell an email: If you can't decorate a trunk, donations of candy and snacks are appreciated in the church office to help offset the costs to the Deacons.
Of course, if you have little ones, they can take a turn trunk-or-treating too!
