A THOUGHT TO SHARE

Psalm 34:18

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he saves those whose spirits are crushed.

This is time in our world where hearts are broken by the violence and pain caused by war, terror, and fear. Share your confidence in God and God’s ways with your family.

Pray together:

Now, Lord, come to our aid!  Grant us peace, teach us peace; guide our steps in the way of peace.  Pope Francis

Confirmation Visited ICSD

The current confirmation class, mentors, and some parents took a field trip to the Islamic Center of San Diego. We were greeted by Imam Taha Hassane and three of the center's youth ambassadors. It was a wonderful learning experience for all of us!

High School Meetings

Last week, Chacha led us in learning about Qigogn, an ancient practice of movement and breathing to reduce stress. She also shared about Tibetan singing bowls used in meditation. This was a lot of fun!

THANK YOU CHACHA!
