Youth Leadership Team 2026-2027
What is Youth Leadership Team?
Youth Leadership Team is a group of high schoolers who work together to plan and lead a Diocesan Youth Retreat for middle schoolers and high schoolers at Shrine Mont in Spring 2027. Together the Youth Leadership Team will organize the content, schedule, and leadership for this diocesan event and offer suggestions for future endeavors.
How do I join?
If you are going to be in 9th-12th grade during the 2026-27 school year and you can commit to attending all the meeting dates listed below, apply by completing the Google form found here. We are seeking a diverse group of youth from across the Diocese of Virginia which means we will limit the number of participants from individual cities. If you are not selected for the team this year, you can reapply next year! Applications are due by September 15th.

**You must commit to attending ALL of these meetings in order to be considered for Youth Leadership Team.

- In-Person Youth Leadership Team planning retreat in Fredericksburg (10am-4pm, lunch provided)

- Youth Leadership Team Zoom Meeting (3-4pm)
- Saturday, January 30, 2027
- In-person Youth Leadership Team Meeting in Fredericksburg (10am-4pm, lunch provided)
- Sunday, March 7, 2027
- Youth Leadership Team Zoom Meeting (3-4pm)
- Friday, April 16-Sunday, April 18, 2027
- Diocesan Youth Retreat at Shrine Mont (arrive by 3pm on Friday and depart at 12pm on Sunday)
